In July of 2009, Bark Frameworks LLC moved our Lafayette Street showroom to our Long Island City Building. Learn more by clicking here.
We began designing and making frames 40 years ago in a SoHo loft. Our showroom and workshops are now housed in our restored and climate-controlled Long Island City building. Here we make frames for paintings and works on paper from the Impressionist period to the present. We create frames for other media as well, ranging from mirrors and textiles to Japanese scrolls and Tibetan thangkas.
Our designers work closely with clients and welcome this collaboration. Whether the frame is one we create today, or one of our first simple profiles from the early 70s, all are of our own design.
At Bark Frameworks, our staff are trained in conservation framing practice and use only the highest quality archival materials.
